Emergency Roadside Assistance*
With every policy, we provide emergency roadside assistance.  24 hours a day, 7 days a week, have peace of mind that you will get the help you need- whenever and wherever you may be in the United States and Canada.

In addition, if you have purchased Towing and Labor Coverage  at an additional cost, we’ll pay for your charges in one of three ways:

  • When you allow your car to be towed to the nearest repair facility (as determined by Liberty Mutual), we will pay the entire towing charge.  Simply sign the bill without paying anything upfront. 
    (This option is not available in Massachusetts due to state regulations.)
  • If you prefer to have your car towed to a repair facility other than the nearest repair facility, we will pay the towing charges up to your policy limits.
  • If a tow is not necessary to get you back on the road, Liberty Mutual will pay for the labor charges up to your policy limits.

Total Liberty Care Facilities (TLC)**
For your convenience, you can have your car appraised, usually within 24 hours, and repaired at one of our Total Liberty Care facilities.  Each facility is dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality repairs and services by offering:

  • scheduled opportunities for estimates and repairs,
  • immediate written estimate,
  • a copy of Liberty Mutual’s Limited Warranty on the repairs,
  • direct payment to the TLC facility from Liberty Mutual.

You may also choose to have your car repaired at a repair facility of your choice.

**Due to state regulations, TLC facilities are not available in Massachusetts.

Car Windshield Repair Services
If you have comprehensive or glass coverage and your windshield or other safety glass is damaged, fixing it is simple.  We have an extensive network of glass replacement facilities available and the repair can be completed at your home, place of employment, or other convenient location.  The glass company will bill us directly, helping to keep this a hassle free event for you.  We even guarantee the quality repair.  If you do not need a referral, we can work with your preferred glass replacement shop.

Substitute Transportation
If you have Rental Coverage, we can arrange replacement transportation during the time your vehicle is under repair.  Frequently, the vehicle can be delivered to you.

Vehicle Locator Services
In the event your vehicle is damaged beyond repair, we can assist you in locating a comparable replacement vehicle.

New Car Replacement Program***
We will replace your new vehicle with no depreciation charged if it is declared a total loss. This program is available to you if your car is less than one year old, has less than 15,000 miles, and was not previously owned.

***This program is not available in all states.

Deductible Recovery
If another party was at fault for an accident or a loss, we have dedicated units who aggressively pursue collection from the responsible party’s insurance carrier and prompt reimbursement of your deductible.

Fraud Detection
We aggressively resist fraudulent claims that may be brought against you. We work closely with the National Insurance Crime Bureau and local law enforcement agencies to detect and deter fraudulent claims.

Legal Services
We have an extensive network of lawyers throughout the U.S. and Canada to protect your interests in the event you are sued as a result of an accident.
